"When I count to three you jump, okay?" He whispered as he stood behind me. I didn't miss how his chest rubbed slightly upon my bare back. The close proximity was setting my pheromones on overdrive as I stared downwards to the yawning cliff before me.
Who the hell said this was a good idea?
"Ready?" I nodded but my heartbeat drummed the exact opposite.
"One." His cool breath fanned my neck.
"Two." His hands steadied my waist.
"Thr---." Crap.
All I thought of was how much luck I had in the world as I slipped then fell. Damn.

Dianna Marriotte's summer vacation took a major wrong turn. She was smart, she was silly, she was a clutz and no one missed how the Marriotte's were loaded rich. But seemingly, her life wasn't all diamonds, volkswagens and rolex like it ought to be. Behind the gowns, she suffers from boredom, anemia and parents who thinks the only solution for every dilemma they have is divorce. She therefore finds refuge with her friends as her haven of rest to the everyday tragedy she calls her life.
Just when she finally thought of trying to get out of her comfort zone and fix the said tragedy, she meets this summer hot, tanned guy with a penchant for getting everything he wants with his caramel brown eyes.
And maybe, just maybe, the waves he bring were just what she needs to flush out all of the worries away.
