"OMG" he laughed "What about your wolf? Have you talked to her yet?"
"What? What wolf? Didn't you say I am human?"
"Yeah. You're in part human but you are half werewolf also!"
"WHAAAT? And you didn't tell me?"
"Well, I guessed you knew "
"How could've I known?"
"Well, your she-wolf should have appeared years ago but maybe it's different for you. I mean, I've never met half werewolf before."He stopped for a second "We can probably talk to her right now if you would like to?"
"And here we go again!" I thought
"Hey,  you know I heard that!"he said laughing.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I'm not used to people reading my mind yet. Ok?" I replied angrily.
The wind blowed curling my hair. I took a deep breath and turned to face my mate.
"Let's do it!" I said knowing that I might regret it later.

I bursted out laughing, I mean you think I just heard the funniest joke in the universe. All my dad does is keep a straight face. "Ok, good one." He stares at me. "I'm not kidding around Hayley." I start to get nervous. "Dad that isn't possible, I'm human your human." He stares at me more. Hayley is just your average senior, getting through high school. That's until she finds out she is half werewolf, her boats get a little rocky. When she finds her mate, her world turns upside down. There are spelling errors and mistakes. So please don't get mad. He roared in laughter, the sound of which irritated the hell out of me. Aargh! How I wanted to rip his heart out even as I wanted to glue my body to his and stay there forever, basking in his scent. I was so mad that I wanted to show him how wrong he was. Soon, he would be sorry, he would kneel and beg for my forgiveness. The mental image of him on his knees made my lips twitch with amusement. I started phasing out to my wolf form, and when I stood in all my glory, I prowled and preened to show off my beautiful fur. He laughed even harder. I simply wanted to kill him. Yes, my wolf was small, but it existed. Why the hell wasn't he on his knees then? "As I said, you're not a werewolf," he repeated. Huh, what did he mean by that?

I was almost to the door when I remembered the leather jacket I brought. I turned back to the room and just as I entered the most wonderful smell hit my nose. "YOU DARE LAY YOUR HAND ON MY MATE!" I growled then grabbed his head smashing it into the wall knocking him out and turned to my mate. She looked at me with wide frightened eyes and backed away. I knew that my eyes were glowing red and my canines were out but I was pissed and didn't have a good temper. When she stepped away from me again I let out a growl and she instantly froze. "MINE." Charity Andrews is a werewolf who hasn't shifted yet. She is abused and mistreated by her pack for this reason because they don't think she is anything but a worthless human. That all changes when Alpha Colton comes for a meeting. Alpha Colton is the coldest meanest Alpha that many fear.
