Thor rarely comes down from Asgard, Stark Tower is too quiet, and tensions rise between the pair as they struggle with being the only two humans left on the planet. Or so they thought.

The Winter Soldier wakes up from cryogenic sleep to a deserted facility and a snow-covered mountain. The only thing he can remember is how to hold a gun and a set of coordinates that takes him straight to New York City.

Steve and Bucky rekindle their old relationship in this long-awaited novella about love, patience, and the value of having super-soldier cells running through your veins. Can they bridge the gap between each other, but more importantly, can they defend each other from the other survivors desperate to complete their last missions?
