Brianna "Bree" Miller is a dancer. She dances 20 hours a week at the highest competitive level at her studio. When she's not dancing, she's on the ice at the rink playing AAA hockey on the U20 team. And get this, she's only 14. But between 40 hours a week of sports, sports, sports, Bree barely finds time to finish her homework and make it to school on time. After school ends, she's at the rink and then heading uptown to dance. By the time she gets home she's exhausted, and barely has any energy left to finish her homework. The two sports have been a part of her life for as long as Bree can remember. But in her first year of high school, juggling the sports starts to become a lot more difficult. Plus, her friends at the studio and her teammates on the ice don't get along, and hate Bree being in the company of the others. It's not as easy as it was before. She's clearly the best dancer at the studio, and the best player on the ice, which leads to jealous teammates, fights, and hurt friendships. Tournaments and competitions. Friendships crashing and burning. Betrayals and jealousy. Add the pressure of being a freshman to the mix, and you've got a recipe for disaster. Will Bree be able to turn her life around? Will she be forced to give up one of the sports she loves? Can a devastating action be turned into a life-changing decision? And what happens when one of her friends decides to take matters into her own hands?
