The battlefield was a cacophony of chaos-clashing swords, roaring cannons, and the cries of men. Smoke filled the air, and the earth trembled with the weight of war. Yet amidst the storm of violence, there was one figure who moved with grace and serenity. The hero stood tall, his eyes steady and breath slow, as though the destruction around him was but a distant echo. His comrades fought furiously, desperate to survive, but he remained still, watching with a calm that seemed almost unnatural. Arrows flew past him, and the clash of steel rang in his ears, yet nothing broke his focus. His presence seemed to radiate a strange energy, one that deflected fear and chaos. He did not fight to conquer; he fought with the essence of peace within him, a serenity that protected him more than any shield. A soldier, bloodied and shaken, ran to him, bewildered by his unshakable composure. "How are you so calm? In the middle of this?" the soldier asked, his voice a mixture of fear and awe. The hero glanced at the man, a faint smile playing at the corner of his lips. His voice was soft but carried through the noise. "War is born from chaos, from fear and anger," he said, "but peace is my true strength. When you fight with a calm heart, no storm can touch you. It's not the battle I conquer-it's myself." The soldier stood stunned for a moment, before nodding slowly, finding in the hero's words a fleeting sense of clarity amidst the madness. soldier was scared by seeing him than a war which is going on but he was filled with confidence cause he had backbone which supported all the soldiers here ................................................................................................... Rise of Fire: Dragons Reborn [COMPLETED] by RosaleeRain
49 parts Complete Mature
The world had long since forgotten the age of dragons, those creatures that had once ruled the skies as gods had long since disappeared after the conclusion of the Great Demon Wars. Dragons became nothing more than a fading legend, a story to tell children at bedtime. But the gods could not let the dragons die, for they were the last defense against the demon armies and the dark god Vekkar. Talia had been born and raised in a world of darkness acting as an agent of Hephatus, goddess of assassins and death. She knew only a life of killing, sometimes for justice, sometimes for honor, always for money. Her morals were opaque at best. But when she's deployed to the city of Arboros she finds herself thrust into a world of political games, opposing powers, and constant threat. Nowhere was safe even for her. Her goals became muddied, and then lost altogether when she meets the Dwarven Prince. Bromyr had spent the last five years of his life chasing ghosts, desperate to find the lost dragon eggs. His people thought him crazy, his father stripped him of his titles, but he never gave up. Eventually his effort bore fruit and he hastily made way to return to his homeland only to get caught up in the city of Arboros. It was there that he met an intriguing half-giant, a woman who ignited a fire everywhere she went. In the end she was the one who inadvertently brought about the new age of dragons. What could go wrong when an ill tempered assassin becomes the first dragon rider of a new age? ***Cover made by annie1loves1you***

She had her back to him. "Hi, Thanks a lot. If you hadn't come, then I would have been on the streets. You really did a good job. The director was impressed with your improvisation though the role was small." She was confused, what is her groom speaking about. She opens her eyes and turns around to see him. Her face falls, it was not her husband. He hands an envelope to her and thanks her before he leaves. She takes the envelope still confused. She thinks - Oh!
