His sacred quest led him south through the only pass beyond the mountain border and past the end of his lands. Now, Winter is over and promises have been made. It is time for Spring's revenge. Not only did he survived the brutal winter after being mortally wounded by the foul denizens of the south and then rescued by what he thought was an enemy to all of humankind but he learned some of the lessons that his previously sheltered life could never have taught him.

So, now he walks a path that will lead him and his unlikely companions down a long and perilous road to find the justice that they seek. He will learn more of life's lessons, while his honor and integrity are tested as he, Katana and friends travel to the west chasing the caravan leader that nearly took Katana's life. He discovers more of himself than he could have ever imagine and one simple truth that will once again shatter his veil of innocence and youth.

43 parts Complete

Gerithor, a Dunedain ranger, has been a guardian of the West for many years, protecting it and keeping watch over the Shire. But when he receives word that his fellow Dunedain were attacked at Sarn Ford by Nine Riders, he hastens to Rivendell, where he receives a quest which will take him east of the Misty Mountains to defend the Free Peoples. In his new quest he will take up arms with characters old and new, including the Elven warrior Glorfindel and Gimli's father, Gloin, in a desperate bid to stand against Sauron as the Defenders of Middle Earth. Set twenty years after the events of the Lastborn, this is Gerithor's final epic adventure, and the fate of many rests on his shoulders. The new cover of this book is by @starsalight!
