At this point, Lucifer swore his Father was just fucking with him. Why else would he find himself  knocked out and thrown into the desert right as he was going to tell the Detective the truth about himself?

When he arrives back in LA, he discovers that telling the Detective the truth is the least of his worries at this point. Several of his angelic siblings have arrived in the City of Angels and they're not there to take him back to Hell-they're on the run from Heaven.

With his estranged siblings in his home, a war brewing in the Silver City, the Almighty Father Himself nowhere to be found, and a new lieutenant in charge of the LA police that isn't what he says he is, everything's going straight to Hell.

Lucifer would know, after all.

It is also Narrated from the perspective of Junior and also from the perspective of Zenith After his mother and father were 'murdered' and Zenith, his baby sister, kidnapped out of hatred and loathing, the young Lucifer Jr had to go off on his own to try and get his sister back and deal wituh the stresses of his world and the human world together. As he go's around in fear of all that is around him since he was bullied from a young age and being threatened by his parents' killer his whole life, he makes an unlikely friend who no doubt helps him along his journey to get his life in order and find out what really happened in his past.

Through it all, he must anticipate God's next moves if he hopes to save humanity from final destruction, and he cannot shake the feeling that war is inevitable. *Note:* This draws heavily from original biblical concepts and church tradition, but I weave it together and built on it with my own fancy. This is also not meant to be an attack on anyone's set of beliefs, but do know that Lucifer is portrayed as a protagonist and God is not portrayed in a favorable light 100% of the time (and functionally fills the role of an antagonist). If you are not comfortable with this, give it a pass.
