Mica has no memory of her existence prior to waking up in Dr. John Riddle's laboratory, and that's because she is a robot that was created by Dr. Riddle and his son. Her existence is one of the first of its kind and opens doors of opportunities for the Dr. and the company he works under. In the months following the birth of Mica's conscious state of mind, her existence takes a turn in the wrong direction as nightmares and flashbacks plague her mind. An ethical dilemma rises, as does a resistance against the company that has made strides to create these human-like robots.
