Lance grew up with a big family. Keith being raised by his older brother, Shiro. Lance and Keith had gone to grade school, middle, and now they're in highschool. Lance and keith were what you could call friends till middle school hit and Lance grew jealous by Keith's automatic fame and easy goingness while he tried so hard. **First Klance fic Lance and Keith were always neck and neck and rivals. They rarely spoke to each other and only knew things about each other that they told the whole team, Shiro, Pidge, Hunk, Coran and Allura. They were always off doing their own things and never did things together unless it was for a mission. On such a mission the team got split up. Hunk and Pidge went to a different planet to help people, and so did Coran and Allura. Shiro, Keith and Lance go on another mission to a planet where no one lives. They need to find a special living plant on the planet to make the Cryogenic Pods work properly again. Shiro choose the two boys because they always fought, but he hopes they won't now.
