Mother Nature

In the South African wild, a small Pride of Lions struggle to maintain their strength and survive by almost any means necessary during a season of great weather and environmental changes. Yaiya, the youngest and most timid of the Lionesses in the Pride raises her two cubs, including a third cub she adopted. Now she must struggle to thrive and grow her offspring all the while these hard times occur, as her and all the ones she grew up with, lived and loved so closely are tested for their will and courage against the cruelty of a lifetime as life becomes more and more dangerous and violent, and witnesses them fall from gradual decent into savagery and madness.
