Rain Walton is a 12th-grade girl who suffers from a rare and unusual disease. If she gets wet in the rain, she becomes weak and could even die. Unfortunately, there is no cure for her condition, which has made her a target for bullies. However, everything changes when she meets Liam Crawford, a boy who loves the rain and will bring joy to Rain's lonely heart.

After finding out she was adopted and that her parents now want her back. Rainy Lande is living in a home with a warlock, a Frankenstein, two werewolves, and a vampire. Not to mention the pet dragon. Now she learns how she as a human with monster blood in her has to live a "normal" life in this series of adventures.
