'Profs and Prophecy' is two tales intertwined, following the dual stories of the Vice Chancellor of FrogBottom University and first-year student Priti YoungEarl. Both are completely unaware of the other's existence or intentions, but their paths are inextricably linked.

Over FrogBottom's five-century existence, it has been the premiere destination for students interested in Witchcraft and Sorcery. The Vice Chancellor of this mystical University is completely evil, and unrepentantly so. However, whereas others in his lofty position might rely on the use of magic to achieve their despicable goals, the Vice Chancellor is more apt to release his brutal and scathing sarcasm to reduce his opponents to quivering jelly.

The Vice Chancellor is using the University to eradicate the Art of Witchcraft, leaving sorcerers to dominate forever. He is aided in this goal by a prophecy, foreseeing that a sorcery student will arrive and ensure victory for their kind. When the student never gets off the train the Vice Chancellor pulls out all the stops in his attempt to locate the truant student.

Priti no sooner comes to grips with the fact that she is actually attending classes in witchcraft, than she suddenly finds out her classes are not teaching any witchcraft at all. On top of this, she and her sister witches are the only ones who have figured out that the prophecy refers to Priti, not a sorcery student at all! The conspiracy against witches revealed, Priti sets out to right all wrongs, hampered only slightly by the Vice Chancellor's repeated attempts to murder her.

In 'Profs and Prophecy' there is no easy way out for Priti. No handsome prince will arrive to save her at the last minute. No mysterious magical force will destroy the bad guy just because he's evil, leaving her unscathed just because she's not. Luck just doesn't work that way for Priti!

Sora has no place in the world. She is meant to be a strong warrior, with the ability to shift into a wolf. She is none of those things, and looked down upon because of it. It brings shame to her, it brings shame to her family, and worst of all, it brings shame upon her prideful and strong brother. There is but one person who truly knows and loves her, but does he really? Magic is not the weapon of a warrior, magic is the weapon of a coward. Sora has been told that all her life, but she has magic within her, recently awakened, and so she has begun to doubt it. Still, witchcraft is punishable by death, and so Sora must be careful with her practices, lest she lose all she has. Sora is a better witch than wolf, though not by much, but she still pursues that craft in spite of the dangers. Her place in the world is a dangerous one, but will it last? The world she lives in is a dangerous one, and such a life as hers rarely ends happily. Disclaimer: this is a short prequel, Sora's story does not conclude with this one. If you finish this book and go "oh, that's the end?" it's because it's not the end. I'm writing a trilogy called Mortance that explores the larger world that this takes place in and concludes Sora's story more thoroughly than in this book. Go read that next if you like my writing, thanks. Please leave any and all criticisms you might have, anything you like and anything you dislike, I want to make this as good as I can. P.S. the cover is literally just a drawing I made in physics class, I know it's bad, I'm not an artist.

A world at war . . . Two rivals for the throne . . . If chosen by the six magets, one will have the throne for their own . . . In the land of Magic, all sorts of beings live together. But during this Era, the land is at war. A unicorn prince and a mermaid queen are warring to see who would be the next ruler of the land. To stop the war, a special group of people must choose. But those people are emotionally unstable magets. Luna is a Night Bringer dragon, but she isn't pureblood. She also has the abilities of a Water Sprayer and the scales of a Weather Wing. Under normal circumstances, nothing would be wrong, just would have trouble controlling extra powers. But the Night Bringers of the continent weren't open to hybrids in their species. That fact caused Luna so much pressure and stress to hide and cost her a spot at her dream school. But then comes the faithful day when she is revealed to be a part of a prophecy of her and five other magets that would stop the war. (A prophecy Luna had first, but that's beside the point) She and the other five are then thrust into a plot of conspiracy, secrets, and death, surrounded by people they don't know if they can trust or not. The pressure for Luna is only amplified by the added factor of might not being able to survive. Is this really how it's supposed to go? Is Luna going through all of this pressure for a good reason? Or are there factors she hasn't even considered? Inspired by Wings of Fire and Upside-down Magic THERE WILL BE BLOOD AND DEPRESSING THEMES! BUT TUI T. SUTHERLAND SEEMED TO GET AWAY WITH IT, AND I CAN TOO! Edit: [I am editing this story to make the story clearer and make more sense, just to let you know]

Adaline Hemmingway's first year at Hogwarts is upon her, and all she wants to do is learn to be the best witch she can be. She quickly makes friends and settles into herself, avoiding trouble like the good student she is (and inevitably getting into a little bit of it anyway). What she doesn't anticipate is forming a friendship- and perhaps something more- with the boy in her grade famous for his good looks and cunning and cut-throat attitude. Disclaimer: This story is, of course, set in the Harry Potter universe and remotely within the context of the Sorcerer's Stone. However, this plotline will not directly follow the first book. I'm taking the general story and the characters and putting my own spin on them- as if it's just shy of an alternate universe. Characters may act a little bit differently than they would canonically and things may happen out of order (some may even act the same, who knows?), but that's the creative license I'm taking for this story. The world may not belong to me, but the story is mine to tell (so if things are a little different, please don't bite my head off). Happy reading!
