"Fighting for us was the only thing that kept me going. Now that I know that your feelings for me were fake, I'm just clueless" he said

"Why would you fight for me knowing that I was with Kaden?" I asked.

"I was fighting for your happy ending, not mine. Because that's what love is. But I don't expect you to understand" he scoffed.

"Please just hear me out ---" I pleaded.

"You don't need to explain anything to me, Evelyn" he said in his deep cold voice that shattered me into a million pieces. I was sure that the time had come to tell him but just then my throat closed up.

A new girl.
A bad boy.
A mysterious past.
What could go wrong?
Turns out, everything.
--x--
When Evelyn Montgomery sets foot in a new school in a new city, she is encountered with a whole new set of circumstances -- ones she doesn't know how to deal with. When an unexpected disappearance takes place, new pasts are slowly discovered. Each new one is like a puzzle piece, all connecting back to the mysterious disappearance. Having the pieces is crucial, but what's more important is knowing how to put them together. But that isn't as easy as it sounds especially when there is someone giving you misleading information.
