"Ava!" Noreen Knightley, the school counselor, was shouting.
My body suddenly firing up, adrenaline pouring into my veins, I turned to find her. As I spotted smooth and bright auburn hair at the left corner of the gym, waving wildly, I knew without question that I had to get to Mrs. Knightley.
But-how?
Looking around, I saw nothing that would help me get through the crowd. Mindless with fear, I forsook reason and leapt into the fray.

Ezera spotted movement out of the corner of his eye, squinted as he approached one of the taller apartment complexes 'is that...' coming to a halt near the front of the building he quickly rolls down his window "ASHER?" Without a second thought Asher grabbed his stuff and sprinted towards the car. Once he had dove in through the lowered back window the car took off again. "Only if you would have ran that fast at the tournament" he said to lighten the very serious mood. "If" Asher replies. ---- Once fierce rivals, Asher and Ezera now face a world turned upside down. A world where the dead walk and the living are no longer who they used to be. Together with Ezeras younger sister, they must navigate a nightmarish landscape where former friends and family have become relentless killers.
