Soulmates, we're always told we have one but I haven't been so sure I do. I mean I did get my tattoo and it hasn't disappeared yet, meaning they aren't dead. I guess believing in something like that takes a lot of effort. When you first touch your soulmate (Skin to skin contact) your tattoo turns a solid color. That color is the most important color in your life at the moment you touched. In this world, there's a system to tell who your soulmate is. Nobody remembers how it happened but, one day people started getting these tattoos on their right wrist. These tattoos are a basic shape that resembles your soulmate's hair. The shape is filled in completely by the color of your soulmate's hair as well. In the center of the tattoo, there are 1-5 objects. Those objects describe what your soulmate loves to do. The shape of my tattoo always fascinated me but I've never been able to put it into words. My tattoo shape is an upside-down half-circle if instead of the bottom part being flat, it opens and curves outwards. In the center of my tattoo was a volleyball, it always was a volleyball, it's never changed once. You see naturally, people tend to change hobbies, but whoever my soulmate was, they didn't change theirs, I never changed mine either which is fascinating. This is a haikyuu soulmate au. The way the soulmates work is they will get a colour stripe on their dominant wrist, the colour will be their soulmates favourite colour and will be scented like their soulmate. Their soulmate's initials will be engraved in with the stripe. if the initials are white then the soulmate is platonic and if the initials are black then the soulmate is romantic however this can change but that is very rare. The stripe appears at birth. It is possible for someone to not get a stripe but some people can get a delayed soulmate and develop their stripe later but not all. If the soulmate is romantic, then the soulmate will stay true to the persons sexuality. If the soulmate gets hurt the person will be able to sense where (if its physical pain). Mental pain works slightly differently so for example, their soulmate is going through grief, they can feel ever so slightly what the soulmate is feeling so sometimes people can be found suddenly tearing up, even in the happiest of moments, of sadness. If the soulmate is uncomfortable or has been harassed, the person will get visions of it almost like looking back on a memory. when soulmates kiss their stripes will glow slightly.Concluida
