My heartbeat began violently pounding in my ears, and my mind was racing . I ran as fast as I could through the gloomy forest. The wind pushed frantically up against my face ,warning me to hide, but the screams behind me forced my shaky legs to continue.
"Addy!" screeched a familiar voice.
Stopping dead in my tracks, I turned my head, searching desperately for a tall, handsome, blue eyed boy. Feeling the bleak trees begin to spin and close in on me, I finally saw him.
"Jack!" I yelled, despite losing my voice.
Running towards his arms of safety, I lost all track of the blood trail I was leaving behind.
"I thought they found you." He breathed on my hairline , as he wrapped his strong arms around me.
Looking up from his warm chest, he smiled and said " I love..."
I gasped in horror as a black spear pierced right through his forehead.
Knowing that if I screamed they would find me, I let out silent tears that began to burn the scars on my face.
" I FOUND THEM!" growled a rebel.
Using Jack's dead body, I quickly dropped to the ground, forcing myself to stop shaking. Closing my eyes I heard the rebel's voices getting closer and closer. After a moment, I felt the heat of a torch and a wet goo gush on my face. I reluctantly opened my eyes to see the rebel's mouth covered in Jack's blood, smiling at me. As his narrow red eyes stared into mine, I knew I was already dead.
