The story unfolds seven months after the Fourth Shinobi War, and it's Temari's first time coming to Konoha during the start of peacetime. Shikamaru is assigned to be her escort as per usual, but this time things are a little different. After their unexpected first kiss, the two shinobi start to develop feelings for one another and neither knows what to do. Temari is the princess of Sunagakure with two overprotective brothers and a nagging administrative council, and Shikamaru is simply her escort who is in training to be the next advisor of the newly appointed Sixth Hokage. Apparently, their relationship could never work... publicly, that is.
Will they overcome their doubts, risk destroying their friendship, and fall in love all in utmost secrecy?
