Lauren nunca esperou reencontrar Camila na faculdade. Na verdade, ela esperava nunca mais vê-la. Depois de todo o transtorno que Camila tinha causado em sua vida no ensino médio, depois de tê-la quebrado de um jeito horrível, Lauren realmente não queria ter visto ela de novo. Mas viu, e de um jeito surpreendentemente mudado. Camila Cabello tinha conseguido ficar ainda mais linda durante todos esses anos. O corte de cabelo que ela tinha agora-curtinho perto do início do pescoço-, a pele mais bronzeada e os looks de roupas mais ousados, tinham conseguido prender a atenção da morena de jeito. Porém, mesmo estando mais bonita, Camila tinha o olhar triste e parecia estar cansada. Se não a odiasse tanto, Lauren até sentiria dó.
Tendo uma enorme vontade de confronta-la para perguntar o que ela estava fazendo ali, Lauren se aproximou, o que recebeu em troca foi confuso e, de certa forma, ficou abalada por aquilo.
