It's 2024 and the world is ending. Ever since the COVID19 went world wide in 2020 everything has gone to shit, although it was slow at first. The schools closed and you couldn't go into popular clothing stores because the didn't want to risk spreading the virus more then they had, but then things started to exoculate. We were on a national wide quarantine so we couldn't leave are houses and not long after that martial law was in placed. Four years have passed and we have since learned that the virus was man made and was actually was started the zombie apocalypse. Well my name is Delilah and this is the story, no matter what happens I hope people after me see this and learn from the mistake we all made.

The characters and situations in this book are very real, if gore or horrific mental images scare you, then I wouldn't recommend reading far. DESCRIPTION: The Infection claimed the lives of over 3 billion people before the TV's went off. But it would claim many more. The problem didn't arise when those people got up and started walking again, or even when they started eating and infecting others, it began when people got desperate. In this new world, the true evil that humans are capable of gradually becomes more apparent, and a part of everyday life. Normality doesn't exist, people don't help other people. Friends aren't a thing anymore. All anyone truly has is themselves, and the burdens they carry.Complete

I never believed it would end like this. I was just watching Netflix when the power went out, then before I knew it everyone was screaming, then the school began to shake and fell to the ground. Only three kids in my entire school were spared, four if you count me. I found a group of people heading to the east coast for a boat trip to a supposed safe haven in India. They died of disease days later. I found their bodies by the river. But I guess this is my life now, surviving with a scared boy, a pair of twins and trying to make it to the next day. They said that "Changing is part of LIFE.", at least that's what the CSD (Change and Save Department) used to say. They thought they created a "cure". A cure to save many people's lives from sickness, cancer, and all. Unfortunately... They were wrong. It was fine at first... However, their first test subject? It was for no good. Instead of a cure, they made a "virus". The virus is incurable for now. Many people protested against the CSD and the government. It changed.. but it was never saved... They said that once they bit you, in an hour the virus will spread throughout your body and kill you, then you'll be alive but not like you used to be. There are many survivors, but there are also many who have been turned into monsters. They call these monsters, "zombies". The CSD promised that they'll find a cure, but much-lost hope, lost hope for being alive, lost hope for survival. A 17 yrs. the old girl was in between that. Everything might sound and look horrible but she never lost hope for survival. "I'm running out of food.." she kept on talking to herself since there was no one but her. She saw a grocery store nearby so she checked it out if there were food, and fortunately, there was. She stuffed the food in her bag until she heard something. "Is someone there?" She asked, she hoped it wasn't what she thought about but there it was. The zombie's legs were twisted so it will have a hard time catching her. However, she never encountered that close. She stuffed the last food in her bag and ran. She ran to the girl's restroom. When she opened the door there were zombies! It almost caught her but fortunately, nothing happened to her. She ran back but there were more! "Please don't say this is how I'm going to die!" She said to herself. Is she going to die? Who will she meet? Will they survive this cruel world?? Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.Complete
