She didn't want to go through the excruciating pain that went with dying or the loss and guilt she would feel once her family and friends realized that their Eleanor was gone for good. But somehow she managed to find herself in the midst of danger when walking home from a friend's house late at night. And when she bled dry on the pavement near an alleyway, she knew she was never coming back.

At least, that was what she thought before her eyes opened again.
