"What does February Tenth mean?" I said as I studied the sloppy red sharpie scribbled across my palm.
"That's the day I plan to ask you out." He said simply, letting a smile take over his features.
"Why that day?" I asked, still feeling confused.
"That's so I have just enough time to win your heart, and make you fall for me." He said as he tilted his head, watching my reaction.
"Why are you so persistent to make me fall for you?" I said still pushing the topic until it bled.
"That's because I already have."

And I will have you to myself which means you are going to join me and my pack" he said and I shook my head "j-just reject me and none of this has to happen" I whispered and he growled sliding his other hand down my stomach. "Don't test me mate" he said and I gasped as he grabbed me "you belong to me now so like I said before. Go home and pack your bags" he said and I just shook my head "I don't want to leave my pack-" "To-fucking-bad" he said "I let you go twice. I'm not letting you go again" he growled and I looked up at him nervously shaking my head. "Do as I say or I'll kill your pack. One. By. My heart skipped a beat as he glared at me, both fear and lust being the cause. "Let me make one thing clear. We are not mates, and never will be. Vampires are a highly respected society, and a proud people. I will not stoop so low as to 'mate' with a stupid wolf, just because he says we're 'destined to.' Let alone a male wolf." "Silly boy - you dare ask me that question?" I frown at him instantly - taken aback when he gripped my chin. Yanking me close enough towards him, our lips almost touched. The look in his eyes was one I've seen in wild animals who can't control their animalistic behaviors. Except this one was different...it held desire - which I wasn't for at all. "I became Unhinged because of you." That's when I saw him begin to lean towards me, and wasn't having this any longer. I shove my hand onto his lips right when he was about to kiss me. My eyes glaring into his despite the risks of me doing so. "I refuse for my first kiss to be from someone like you." I growl at him, his eyes widening in shock. That's when I push him back and got off of the couch. I saw him watching me with feral eyes that told me I probably angered him even more. Possibly heightening the chances of my removal from this horrid competition. Except I'm not like the other contestants here. Having him isn't my dream, my dream is helping my family - and being here does that. I could care less if he becomes Unhinged.
