Aftermath

The world wasn't like it used to be. There used to be billions of us populating the planet. Now we were down to a couple hundred thousand.
How did the numbers diminish so much? There was a plague.
The government labs messed up one day and released a fatal disease that contaminated the whole planet day by day unto it had touched every corner. So many people died, but even worse, some changed.
