A journey of a thousand miles starts with a resigned sigh. Before we take that first step, we hesitate, because we don't know what curveballs life will throw at us. 
Life's a bitch like that. 
No one is alone though. Everyone has to make this journey. I intend to take this journey, one step and a hesitation at a time, and life better watch out. 'Cause I'll be telling her what I think of her. 
This book chronicles my opinion on my life.

Black is beautiful. Black triumphs till beyond eternity. Black is the most inscrutably tantalizing fabric of existence. God bless Black. Parekh brings to the fore various evils lingering in the society and tries to cure them offering the balm of poetry. The poems contained within are starkly explicit and poignantly debate on various global social causes like female foeticide, blindness, smoking, molestation, adopting the girl child, hiv-aids discrimination.etc. In a battle of adroit analogies the poet emphatically portrays even the tiniest of social evil and urges mankind to rise above the same. Poetically he tries to unite hearts all across the Universe in the spirit of love, oneness and compassion to give birth to a renaissance against evil and unjustness. This victorious concoction of poems would appeal to all those who've so selflessly fought for a social cause and to uproot evil forever from the fabric of society.

She always felt like an outsider in this house. It was like she was a guest who had stayed too long. Her cousin's cold stares, Chachi's sharp words, and the hidden insults reminded her daily that she wasn't welcome. She was quiet, gentle, and really close to her faith, but being so reserved made her an easy target. Even though she seemed soft, there was a strength inside her that no one could see. Her brown eyes showed a mix of hope and sadness, and her love for Feras was something she kept hidden, even though she wasn't sure he could ever feel the same. Feras was different. He didn't talk much and had a strong sense of right and wrong. Tall with piercing eyes, he had this calm but serious presence. He didn't show much emotion, keeping everything locked inside, yet he somehow looked out for Anam. He wasn't mean, but he wasn't warm either. He was a mystery she couldn't figure out. But fate had its own plans. The lies buried deep in their family were going to come to light, and Anam would find herself at the center of it all. "I can't do this anymore; I just can't!" A line said in almost every individual's life. We all at one stage in our life dealt with such pain; where dying is easier then living. But, it's all a rollarcoaster that we have to fight through. I was once a shy, scared and sad little girl and now I'm a confident, compassionate and cheerful young lady. But, I wasn't always like this; at many stages I was extremely depressed. I know this seems like the stereotypical teenager's story but it was something much much more. Give my story a read and lets ride the rollarcoaster together. You never truly know what can impact you the most. It could be a book or even another person. Never close yourself off to be alone because you're shutting yourself from the beautiful world we live in together. Expect the unexpected and always reach for the stars. I hope you guys ride along and we can over come any scenario together as one.

This was not supposed to happen, they were not supposed to meet. An angry young Pashtun with his ego problems was not supposed to fall for the Americanized version of a Pakistani Muhajir, hack life was not decided for love, not for him at least. He was hard headed than why his gray orbs sudden soften for the brown ones. He had decided that he will marry the first girl that came in front of him to prove a point to his theoretically former tribal bride and in laws. But it took a highway route when he saw a certain, lost girl at the Jinnah Airport. A girl in white cotton floor length dress with a brown leather jacket with a pair of converse munching on a packet of lays masala, sitting on her own trolley, flipping her head here and there as her scarf moved with her without even for once being displaced from its original position. Was he ready to marry a girl that he does not know let alone liked by first sight when he knew in his family approval comes from the elders where there is no choice left for them, the broods? He might be an introvert and an honor preserving chap but he was clear when it came to what he wants and needs. He never confused his feelings with his duties as the head of his family or as the impending head of the chief of his tribe, to be the next Emir of Gorgush. Olasyar Khan, was in that state of mind but then why did his heart feel that pine? He was ready to make everything turn according to his desires, the Pashtun in him was not ready to back down and let others lead his life for him. Allah showed him the way, so he will move all the rocks and stones in his path even if he must pick them up by his bare hands. As the tag on the bag read the name, he uttered the last words and left, "Zareen Wadi, be ready to be Zareen Khan."
