Death Waits or The Tale of Jaramarana

Everyone knows that you can't bargain with Death. For Sidapa, the god of the Veil of Vijayas, is absolute. He is the true constant of life and the inevitable end of all journey. But can one run from the God of Death?

The tale you're about to read is all set in the pre-colonial Philippines, in the land of Vijayas where all my Bagani Saga tales like THE SONGS OF STRIFE and TALES OF TIKUM KADLUM are set.

This short story is inspired from a shorter tale I once read a long time ago. This, I guess, is my version of it? Hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed writing it and do leave a comment behind!
