A person hides in a room, a body laying only metres away from them. They were forced to kill this young man, take their prize, and gift it to The Thing In The Corner. Their reward? They get their soul back.
One thought crosses their mind every minute: "Was it worth it?"

As I was going on a walk one night, I saw a van coming towards me, slowly I walked turning corner after corner until I got tired and sat down luckily the van that I heard that was following me earlier was gone or so I thought... When I looked up at the take a breather the van from earlier caught my eye, "what it caught up to me already but how?" As I thought this it was stopped. Soon the side door to the van opened and I saw two people a man and a woman who had got out and came to talk to me. "what do they want?" my thought was rude so I stayed put and away from them until they came up to me saying something to me til I saw black, all I heard was a laugh and the words "you are coming with us my Darling" .... then everything was silent.Complete
