Emerson is a small town girl in Amarillo Tx. She hosts an annual talent show every year in her hometown to raise money for her brother who passed away a few years ago, his passion was writing music and becoming a singer he was in a small Band with his friends in town and they always did little garage shows that the neighborhood would watch. 

The talent show raises awareness for mental health issues. It's a charity event that they raise money with and they also let small artists perform at their show to get discovered. 

Austin a local home-Towner who doesn't live far from Amarillo, Austin travels to the college he wants to attend not to far form Texas. There he meets Emerson the girl who has so much of a story behind her. The girl who doesn't know austin has a life already the girl who thinks they have a whole life ahead of them. But she doesn't know anything about Austin she learns people don't lay there cards out. 

Music will bring Austin and Emerson together to share an inseparable bond that can't be broken.
