This is the English version of the novel I wrote a year ago for a contest in my school (it got ranked 5th out of 19!)
The subject was "Continue this sentence: The first case I witnessed happened in an isolated village without any official name."
English in not my language though, so forgive me for the mistakes.
Brendon Urie was my inspiration for the image of the character in this story, but his body is their only common point.

Daddy would either be on the piano, playing video games or in his studio, when I come to tap his shoulder, he tells me to go away saying 'I'm busy.' Making me leave, then go to Mummy who's on her phone talking to someone or her computer and when I tap her she gives me the same response like Daddy but softens it with a 'Sorry Sweetie but I'm busy.' My comfort is the dogs, they can't talk or turn me away so I talk to the dogs, I cuddle the dogs if I'm upset or in a good mood. I want my Mummy and Daddy's attention back, I want them back.Complete

They have polar opposite personalities, but when they run out of gas in the middle of Death Valley, they'll have to learn to work together if they want to survive. ----------- so I've re-edited this entire story (it's taken about four hours wowowoww) and fixed parts that I wasn't happy with or parts with continuity issues that didn't make sense (like all of a sudden brendon has glasses in chapter five? what's up with that, past self?) but yes! not much has changed but if you ever want to re-read or if this is your first time reading, read this one! the first one is mainly there to remind myself how far i've come as a writer, even though it's only been a few short months. also, I still love reading all of your comments on that one; they still make me smile :) love you all!!!Complete

Brendon Boyd Urie was a citizen of a small town during the victorian era. He lived his life normal and peacefully. He was a rather royal citizen and was married as soon as he reached adulthood. I would recommend reading My Saving Grace before reading this one, but it's not that big a deal if you do read this first, you might be a little confused on some things, but this is mostly written the same way as My Saving Grace, just with Dallon telling the story so I can explain how Dallon felt at certain points of the story.
