پیش ایلامی پیش ایلامی یا ایلامی مقدم دوره ای از تاریخ ایلام در بین سال تا 7955  های  پیش از میلاد است. 9355 کهن ترین دبیرة ایلامی که پیش ایلامی نام 7155 گرفته، نخستین بار به سال پیش از میلاد در شهر شوش، پایتخت ایلامیان، در جنوب غرب ایران بکار گرفته شد. گویا دبیرة پیش ایلامی از خط میخـ ی سـومر ی یـ ا دبیـ رة باسـتان ی سـومر ی گسترش یافته باشد. دبیرة پیش نشانه است و به1555  ایلامی دارای نظر می رسد که باید بخشی از آن واژه نگار باشد. این دبیره هنوز رمزگشایی نشده است، و زبـان ی را کـه نمـا  یش می دهد هنوز ناشناخته است. 
ایلام (تمدن) ایلام یا عیلام نام یک تمدن در منطقه ای است که بخش بزرگـ ی در جنـوب  غربی فلات ایران را در پایان هزارة سوم قبل از میلاد در بر مـ ی گرفـت  ولـ ی در  . ) تقلیـ ل یافـت Susa دورة هخامنشیان به منطقـه جغراف یـ ایی سـوز یانا شـوش ( H ( » هَلتَمتی « ایلامیان کشورشان را ) به a(l)tamti/Hatamti سـرزم ین «  معنی می »خدا ) می Elamtu( »اِلامتو« خواندند، اکدیان بدان  گفتند و سومریان آن را با اندیشه می »بالا و مرتفع«  به معنای NIM  نگاشت نوشتند.  پیش از میلاد، نخستین شاهنشاهی ایلامی (غیر سامی) در شـوش  9355 در (در جنوب غربی ایران) تشکیل شد.
