Virgil is very quiet, and the literal definition of anxiety. He's had multiple panic/anxiety attacks before.
After living with with Remus and Deceit for two years, Virgil had enough of the arguing and make-up sex between the two. They had also been increasing his rent for no logical reason, other than 'I lost my job and can't get a new one,' as the reason.
Patton, one of Virgil's friends, offered to help him search for a new apartment, as he was searching as well. He agreed, and they started searching for a place.

"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."
