Mainchester, a decaying, smoke-choked factory town, holds more than just poverty within its grime. Arthur, an orphan from the St. Arianna Orphanage, lives a life of simple prayers, warmed by the presence of his two best friends. When a seemingly ordinary night turns into a nightmare, the orphanage vanishes from the map and from memory. Arthur survives only through the touch of a starlight he never understood. The world deems the tragedy to have never happened. All except one: Arthur. Declared an anomaly by the threads of fate, he is relentlessly pursued by a phenomenon that seeks to erase his existence. Amidst the intrigues of a powerful church, a dark-worshipping cult that sows suffering, and god-tier artifacts capable of altering reality, Arthur must choose between uncovering the truth and sacrificing himself for the safety of others. With every near-fatal stroke of misfortune, Arthur gains new clues, tools, and enemies. This journey is not merely for revenge or a reversal of fortune: it is about who has the right to rewrite a city's story, and how far one orphan is willing to go to reclaim a home that was stolen from him.
