Walls can be built to protect a place from a potential danger ... or to protect you from an imminent destruction. Sometimes the pain is so raw, that it's just better to avoid any possibility of getting hurt. Ignore what you feel, and play it safe. It works, until two forces of the same magnitude collide. Not once, but twice. Gabriella Stewart got drowned in a magical deep blue ocean five years ago. She never felt before the plethora of emotions that Nicholas Russell sparked within her the moment their eyes met for the very first time. Unfortunately, it didn't mean things would work out as she wanted. Rather the opposite. Her walls weren't strong enough, and she paid the consequences. Nick was attracted to the light he found in Gabby's eyes. That light haunted him for years. But life taught him he's not worth of that light. He doesn't deserve to be saved from his darkness, and he has to protect the woman who can make him want to forget she's better off without him. He knows better, and the best is to keep her away from him. Far away from him. Gabby knew that loving Nick would raise her to the possibility of finding the happiness that she longed for, or would be her downfall into a precipice of depths of despair. Is it worth to fight the battle of your life for the one you love if you're given a second chance? Sometimes, you need to take a leap of faith ... and shimmy!
