The Time Traveller (Taehyung ff)

"What are looking for, grandma?" I asked her as she was busy rummaging through her closet trying to find something.

She pulled out something lustrous and tiny out of the drawer, observing it carefully through her round glasses.

Making her way towards me, who was standing by the wooden door with a curious face, she held my wrist putting the unknown object on my palm and closing my fist.

"Here's your birthday present, Soojung-ah!" She smiled warmly, letting go of my wrist.

I opened my fist, glancing at the shiny mesmerizing pendant on my palm, emitting a violet light.

"It's not some ordinary pendant. Keep it safe with you. When the right time comes, it will turn out to be beneficial." She mentioned in her sweet voice before passing by me to join the rest of the family downstairs in the living room for the celebration.

And I just stood there, staring at the purple glowing pendant with confusion.
