The blood seeping out of the cut above his ear caused her fangs to poke into her bottom lip. "Now was not the time to be hungry, Alex," she scolded herself as she made her way over to Kay, who was hopping around the now unconscious man on the ground. 

"Oh, Alex, please let me have a bite. Just a little one. It'll last two seconds." 

Alex rolled her eyes at Kay's excitement, "Kay, we both know that two seconds is never enough." She said as bent down and picked up one of Kane's hands, then letting it fall to the rough dirt of the alley. He was out, alright.
