Two years ago, Alex Lanning's mother died in a car crash, which he was in also. The outcome made him blind. Even though he was now blind for life, he still forced a smile onto his face and always was happy, towards his brother and even now alcoholic father... After Alex moves, he meets this jock at school that seems like some ignorant person who doesn't give a crap about anyone but himself, but is that really how he thinks it is? Because not even a week passes where that ignorant jock falls in love and seems to change entirely, though that was his normal self to start with. Will this guy help Alex through his difficult life, and make him fall for him also?

Elliot never had friends, he's always been bullied and his parents are both drunkards with a bad temper. All his life he's just dealt with the problems and toughed it out. When he moves to a new house and new school nothing really changes. He still gets bullied, he's still an outcast and his family still sucks. He goes on to live as usual. Then a bully who usually ignored him starts to pick on him more than usual and in very uncomfortable ways. Elliot tries to ignore what he does but, it gets harder everyday. He was not happy in life but he had finally achieved his goal of being disciplined and serious in life. He had to be for the sake of his son A'Yuan. When he gets a job offer that pays him almost twice his current salary, he accepts it willingly, not realizing that the psychiatric patient who had lost his parents in an accident he is to be the companion of is none other than Lan Wangji. Lan Wangji has not spoken a single word in three years, not since the death of his parents. When he sees his childhood crush in front of him he wants to speak but cannot make himself do so. So he pulls Wei Wuxian into his arms and kisses him. Lan Haikuan never blamed his brother for being the reason he lost his parents but Wangji did.
