Modern Vampires of the City started out as a collection of short stories, each based on the songs from Vampire Weekend's third album, "Modern Vampires of the City," but has become more of a novelette with chapters than individual stories.  I felt there were characters that ran throughout the songs and wanted to give them a story outside the album they were born on, and Hudson in particular seems to be the idealized youth that all we Millennials feel to be at one point or another, or still do.

As of right now, the story is completed. I've updated all parts with the versions that can be found for print. It is said to be amazing. The townsfolk are supposedly nice. The scenery is amazing. There does seem to be a little bit of noise at night, but that is normal. Right? I mean, who would not love to live next to the woods in a town that has a "Wolf Problem," whatever that means, AM I RIGHT??? No but seriously, he is a bit concerned for his well-being, and along with trying to keep his past and his job a secret from the town, he is trying to figure out how to process some new... information... he gets about the world he lives in.
