Yanagisawa Akira has always been lost ever since that incident five years ago. She was a mess, stopped college and started working several jobs. She experiences another loss, leaving her feeling emptier than before and fills the void with feelings of anger and regret. She, despite having a history with the police before, meets the young detective Tsukishima Kei and was forced to trust him if she wanted to find the people responsible for Reika and Yumiko's death, and drag them down to hell with her.
