After the death of her best friend Jessica, Emma Shipe decided after graduating college, to join the F.B.I. Her passion is in cyber security; however, once a mysterious man enters the F.B.I. headquarters - going by the name of Lucifer Morningstar, he requests her specifically to lead in a special task force known as 'Creatures of the night', she reluctantly joins. She knew joining this task force would lead her to the answers she so desperately needed - what happened to her friend? What she didn't know, joining Lucifer Morningstar would also provide a gateway that leads her down the dark rabbit hole in a downward spiral. In her search for answers, she finds that a creature that has been killing since is the 1800's is responsible for the death of her best friend - but why? This creature only targets certain families, and the F.B.I. has known about this for centuries. Emma Shipe will have to venture into the deepest parts of the unknown to find all the answer she seeks - but will she able to make it back with her sanity and soul intact?
