The story of Ghirahim and Fi continues. Many years have passed since the world flooded and Ganon was sealed beneath the waves. Having no further duties as the Master Sword, Fi is reincarnated and given another life as a human. Ghirahim's situation, however, is complicated. He is alive, but not the same. Can he reawaken Fi's memories, and will she forgive him after everything he's done? Even then, how will their lives continue as they are? I wrote this a while back, but I have to say I'm still proud of it. Warning: There is fluff. XD No junk, but fluff. (I do not own The Legend of Zelda!) Hope you like it ^_^

She mirrored his scrutiny and scoffed. "What, and you are?" She gestured to the cairns beyond the trees. "Are you going to protect me as well as you protected them?" Calamity is upon Hyrule. The Goddess Hylia appointed but two children to prevent the end of the world. The powers they were promised don't come easily, and after years of outright failure, Princess Zelda can't help but wonder if Hylia chose wrong. It certainly doesn't help that the boy fate has tangled her with makes her seethe. Devotion, heartbreak, inadequacy. Faith, perseverance, and courage. This is a story of finding what lies within. Connected by a thread of fate, Ghirahim had said. Destined to fight. He wasn't entirely wrong. Six years after the eradication of Demise, that thread pulls Link and Ghirahim together once more, except now they must put their pasts behind them. Soon after this reunion Link is forced back into the role as the Goddess's chosen hero and protector, now with Ghirahim by his side. But, while Ghirahim is slowly dying and Zelda is dealing with her personal troubles, the world is slowly reaching its demise, and Link finds himself unsure if he can stop it.
