It was going to be the summer of our dreams. The summer that everyone saw in the movies, full of love and never ending fun.
It was supposed to be the summer we’d never want to end.
It was planned all out to be a summer in which we’d close your eyes and pray for the winter to sail away in the ocean, just so we’d be able to enjoy the beach another hour.
It wasn’t.
Instead, it was the summer of my dreams shattering, as well as my heart. Piece by piece, every one of my dreams drifted away.
It was the summer he moved in.
It was the summer he ruined everything.
