Light was scarce... No, rephrasing, it doesn't even exist in the Kingdom of Stygia, especially to the soul of the judge of the Underground after losing his brother from the Great Underground War. For all he knew since the said disaster, there will never be hope. Hope was never even heard of.

On the latter however, obscure is a word not to be found in their dictionary. Not in the Kingdom of Lux, at least. In the depths of its royal castle, the Ruins, dwells the brightest star to be seen. Though it gave light, she was a perfect combination of both yin and yang. A human.

She was told not to be associated with darkness, for the first of her kind to fall has been easily corrupted because of its alluring nature. But because of her facet of being 'human', will she resist her instincts if she'd encounter this said obscurity?

When Light Comes Darkness is the first book of my FateTale AU Series. It follows the story of the Light Princess, Freya Licht Mercy Dreemurr (Frisk), and the Guardian of Snowdin, Sans the Skeleton, as their heaten up rivalry turns to something more.
