Juniper Matthews was the girl who would put on one façade after another, desperately trying to please every person she came across. Because of this false personality, nobody ever stopped to think about what happened behind her closed doors.

Yet, that was undoubtedly what she needed most. To the residents of their snobby town, she had a loving family, genuine friends, and a great future ahead of her. Except, that couldn't be farther from the truth.

All the people in her life pulled her by her limbs every which way, and she allowed it. She was so naïve and blinded by manipulation, it began destroying her mentally.

However, when Juniper started to become closer to a mysterious boy along with his friend group, she changed her life forever. Confidence, acceptance, and rebellion can be used to effectively describe this friendship. Though it would soon bring on backstabbing, blackmail, and utter chaos in her life.

Would this friendship still be worth it if in the end, all Juniper had was them?

After three weeks of her high school sweetheart strangely acting like the biggest asshole towards her, Juniper's boyfriend breaks up with her and seemingly that's the end of that. Embarrassed, heart broken, and unsure what to do, Juniper says nothing to her friends about the breakup, not three days later when Abel makes it official by dropping off everything she ever gave him, and not two days after that when they're forced into each other's proximity for their friend group's weekly game night. Strangely enough, Juniper finds out that Abel has ALSO not said anything to his friends about the breakup. The biggest reason? Abel's best friend just so happens to also be Juniper's big brother. What would Hayden do once he found out about their breakup? Would he and Abel still be friends? Would Juniper WANT them to still be friends? They'd been friends twice as long as Juniper and Abel had dated. Hayden would drop Abel in a heartbeat for his sister, but he would be just as heartbroken as her. She didn't want that. But she didn't want to be stuck seeing Abel all the time after what he'd said to her either. Juniper agreed to not tell Hayden about their breakup until they were both ready. But that meant, they'd have to still act like a couple- like the couple they were before- in order for Hayden not to find out. As the 'pretending' goes on, and neither one of them seems closer to being 'ready', both Juniper and Abel start to wonder if Hayden is the only reason the other person won't let go.

Olivia never really paid any attention to the guys in school and she's never let herself fall in love. Ever. With college just months away, she had no interest in beginning a new relationship. Besides, she just wanted to enjoy her senior year with minimal distractions. Then her adoptive parents decide to foster an arrogant, irritating guy, who frustrated her to no end. But then tension, oh sweet tension, grows between them whenever the other is near. How is Olivia supposed to fight the inevitable if they live alone in the same house? How is she supposed to not become attached or fall for his cool, flirty, and sometimes reckless personality? Especially when they both forget about the rules. Tyler didn't expect anyone to want to foster him, but SGA was getting old anyway. With his father out of his life, it was time to finally live it without risking getting arrested for doing anything else illegal. Olivia wasn't supposed to become part of his world. How could she? "We said whoever eats the most pizza has to do the dare no matter how cruel or easy it is." This is just a glimpse of our sleepovers. Ivy and Autumn always drag me into some kind of trap to do their evil dares. Tonight, they used my worst weakness, food. Sighing, "fine. I'll take the dare." They cheered and high-fived as I stood in front of them, glaring. "Better not be something bad!" I blurted, making them snap out of their cheering. They looked at me with a sinister smirk. The smirk where you know their up to something. Something bad. - Meet Jade Williams. Your average girl in every single way. She uses her weekends to binge watch on Netflix and takes her time binge snacking. In no way she would be considered perfect. Yes, sometimes she is picked on every now and then but nothing to extreme. Well despite the fact she has a crush on the most unexpected person. Bryan Jones, the schools bad-boy. He's basically a emotionless, fit brick dressed up in leather. Just your typical bad boy, right? Her life changes from late nights on Netflix to possibly going out to parties because of two guys. Conner Peterson and Bryan Jones. The most anyone can do to keep her out of trouble is to pray. Not to mention the fact that her two dearest friends are two living and breathing dare making machines. "I love how this book is turning out!😍 Not cliche at all!" - i_hatecliche "We might live next door to each other," Haley said, "but we don't live in the same world." Hooking her fingers around her backpack straps, she walked away from Jace. She had barely gone a few steps before he was at her side again. "What makes you believe we don't live in the same world?" he asked. "As far as I can tell, we do." "No, we don't. I'm...me and you're Jace Cortez. The dream of every girl. The friend to every guy. The star of the school. Girls. Sports. You're the ultimate player." "It sounds like you have a preconceived notion of who I am." "And it's one that has yet to be proven wrong." From books and a lifetime of sitting on the sidelines, Haley is convinced she knows how the world works, specifically high school. Everyone has a label and a box they fit in. This knowledge, paired with parents who are fighting, a brother leaving soon for college and a best friend who moved away has made her decide to never get involved. It will take being forced to work with her fellow juniors on a project, a boy next door with a infectious smile, a star gazer with an adorable puppy, and an unlikely pair of fangirls to make her see how truly wrong she was about everything. "IT'S NOT CLICHÉ!!!" - Moria987 "This is the reason y I keep coming back to this book...It's simply a breathtaking journey" - mariyamsajorawala "I don't usually comment but this is one of the best books I've read here. I love the fact that it's realistic and focuses on things that really hinder human interaction, perceptions and stereotypes." - yurfavegal "just gets better and better. How are all your characters 3D! Like this writing is so beautiful" - CrazyStarChick "Reading it for the second time, and the book still brings a smile to my face 😆" - grumpymood "She's practically Carter's twin 😂😂" - Guardian_21 #1 Breakingcliches #1 Arrogant #6 in Teen Romance
