Amelia's life is far from picture perfect, she's been raised by her aunt and uncle since she was 5 years old, she rarely saw her mother and has never known her father. Now it's time for her to find herself in the summer before she leaves for college in the fall, but what she doesn't expect is to find someone like Finn.
Finn's life has been the exact opposite of Amelia's. Parents are still married with stable jobs, the eldest of five children. He could have the world if he wanted it, but that was just it, he didn't want the world. On the verge of being completely disowned by his parents, Finn finds exactly what he's looking for in life.
They say opposites attract, but when one has a trail of disappointments following her and the other has uncertainty ahead, can the two of them navigate the summer of 2010 together? Or will their differences be the thing to completely destroy the both of them?
