Adam Caddel was once Dr. Michael Reed, a dying genius who cured cancer and saved billions. His reward for changing humanity's fate was reincarnation - not in paradise, but in the dangerous world of DC. Now a 17-year-old orphan haunted by memories of another life, Adam discovers the Sphere of Quintessence within his heart - a divine core linking him to the Primordial Gods who existed before creation itself. When he speaks the word "KANAK," he becomes Paragon, a radiant being of divine power capable of rivaling gods and restoring balance to a chaotic universe. But every time he uses that power, the line between man and god grows thinner. Armed with compassion, intellect, and the strength of creation, Adam must learn to wield divinity without losing his humanity - and prove that even in a world of gods, a mortal heart can still shine brightest.
