Skylar is an isolated seventeen year old whose only real friend was her grandmother Margie of ninety-seven. After her passing, Skylar gets a strange visit from one of her grandmothers supposed friends. He gives her a letter that was from Margie, the one person she thought she knew more than her own self. She reads it and realizes that grandma wasn't all who she thought to be, but was someone in possession of something strange. And people were after it, doing anything in all costs to get it from her.
