Over 25 percent of them were found to have a purple substance in their blood, a substance that can make you practically immortal, and give you the ability to control the elements.
Elizabeth and her brother Sam are apart of this group.

Their job is to keep Phoenix alive while he tries to make money reappear and find a cure to Gold fever. Which turns out to be more challenging than they thought, as they find out someone is tailing Phoenix with the intention to kill.
