This story is highly Caribbean-based. So, you wouldn't see this problem happening a lot in first world countries like the United States or Canada. This is from a West Indian perspective and it shows what some students have to deal with on a regular basis. My original story has Jamaican Creole but I changed this version in order to facilitate those who may not understand the dialect.
The purpose is to highlight the negative impact noise pollution may have on the surroundings. A story entitled 'The Battle', where a brilliant girl, Maria, has to battle loud music in her inner-city community to pass her critical exams (CAPE). The story highlights her anxiety as a result of the excessive music which eventually has an impact on her, however, she manages to endure the predicament and prevails.

Front Line
Being on the front line doesn't always mean facing the obvious, being on the front line can be as simple as facing life head-on with no clue where you're going. Life is as much of a front line in the wider perspective than the narrower of that of a battle, where the enemy is known and destination is everywhere but backwards. Therefore in life everyone has a story, this is no different. This story tells the story of Julianna Monroe (Name changed to hide/protect myself), and how even the simple things in life can alter the future in the most minute of ways. Not everything in life has to be all song and dance for it to be interesting and diverse, the story of Julianna's life will show and connect to those with lives just the same as hers who are not able to speak about their experiences. Her story begins when she is around 3-4 years old, just about to start the very first away-from-home experience children in the United Kingdom are encouraged to do. Nursery. Here kids just like Julianna are given the freedom and chance to explore outside of the home environment, without the feeling of an academic learning facility. Julianna is a child rather used to home comforts, so even at the beginning on the long road to get to where she is today, there are struggles and many points in at which she feels lost. However, despite all the minor stumbles on the bottom rung of this ladder, this is the start of an adventure, a journey to test everything Julianna is made of. Her story starts now...Concluida
Racist Mate
*WARNING STORY MAY BE TRIGGERING * She's black and mexican. He's a white boy who prefers to date white girls ONLY. He isn't against other races so he says it's just his preference. His dad is the main person concerned about the future Luna skin color. His abusive dad threatens to kill his mate if she's of color so is his preference in dating based on avoidance of conflicts ? The moon goddess doesn't give him a mate based on what his father will condone. When he meets his black and Mexican mate... he hurts her, bullies her, and most importantly Rejects her. Rejection from your mate can feel and lead to death of your wolf. At first she thinks he's just scared and doesn't take his rejected too hard but it still hurts. At a high school party he gets intoxicated with his friends and tends to find someone to bring upstairs to have fun with. Your typical fuck boy. His mate comes to the party and he brings her outside to apologize speaking based off his true emotions. Unfortunately later he won't let her think that was him showing his vulnerable side. He takes her virginity that night just to turn around early in the morning and treat her like she was just a piece of meat to him. He makes sure that she leaves the house feeling worthless to her alpha mate. Little does he know she's got a thing for revenge and tends to go too far. How far will she take the disrespect and lack of feeling loved? Is he always the bad guy ? Show light of The journey of a person of color in finding self love when you're not the definition of today's beauty standard. Overcoming racism that is taught from older generations not to just be a rebel but to make changes to the future because we are better as one who all bleed the same color. Soft Whispers (Princeton love story)
Hurt her. I know better than to listen to the voices in my head. You know you want to. But sometimes.... It just gets hard to ignore them. Slap her. I try my hardest to contain myself. Kick her. The Patriots
In a ghetto located in a suburb of Colombia, there rises a rebellion which leads to war and bloodshed. Teenagers are trained from parts of Colombia to fight for their country. For if the bloodthirsty are not stopped, they would lose everything they grew up to meet and everything they would like to be in the future days to come. Cecilia was not always the strong girl. She was the cute and sweet type, but in certain circumstances we discover certain parts of ourselves we never knew we had. She had this strong will of never giving up and with this she fights for her country and the lives of the ones she holds dear. Will she and her friends be able to win this war?
