A surprise student appears in Wellston shaking the atmosphere caused by the attacks of the joker, David Argenta appears and with him comes an atmosphere hiding secrets and raising many questions as he transfers in from New Boston. His first objective is to keep quiet and hope he can hide his secret long enough to avoid being placed among the ranks of the hierarchy, much to his discovery he's not alone.

Taking his fathers words to heart, John Doe returns to Wellston with the intention of expelling himself from the hierarchy; attempting to turn over a new leaf with the ones he fought with for weeks.
