This is the story of the Sigil Servants, a D&D campaign I am a player in, as told from the point of view of my character, Sigryn. Letters to a Valkyrie is framed as a series of letters and journal entries written by Sigryn to someone very dear to her. The entries are very stream of consciousness as she tries to recall everything she can, so please keep that in mind. I try to make it sound like she is telling the story to reader, with the tangents and asides that come with that. Thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoy!

The Mercenary's Valkyrie: Book One

60 parts Complete

Mortals fear death. Immortals fear forever... When an army of mercenaries sweeps through a young girl's village and murders her parents, her life is set on a new course. After that she didn't have space to believe in anything other than becoming a weapon and cheating death with her closest companions. But an immortal, a goddess, a Valkyrie... changes everything. The stoic guardian watches over Tayah Ashrive now. But cracks start appearing past the cool, immortal demeanour and Tayah realises she may be the only soul to ever get close enough to see her truly. Their meeting will shape the destiny of both their futures-if they survive each other and dangerous growing feelings between them.
