The disbanding of NCT was sudden and unexpected. Nobody in the industry could have predicted it since just the day before, the group still had schedules planned. There was no explanation for why, just an official post from the company saying that all NCT members' contracts had been terminated.
It was a few months later that a channel on YouTube popped up called 'FullSun' with a video explaining everything.
