She stood with her back pressed against the plain white hospital walls. Her arms remained tightly crossed over her chest. The skin around her eyes was red and puffy and dried tears hung tightly onto her skin. She looked vulnerable, and she hated it.
"Please, I can't do this right now" she mumbled, her voice cracking slightly as she spoke. She tried her hardest not to look into his eyes.
"You can't deny this Mags" he sighed, running a finger across her skin and tucking a strand of hair behind her right ear. "Just tell me to stop. Tell me that it's wrong and I'll stop"
She didn't reply as he moved his face closer to hers.

"Sorry, Lahey, but I'm more of a cat person." Vera Pérez is no stranger to the supernatural. Growing up alongside the Hale family has kept her fairly well-informed about the creatures that lurk in the darkness. However, she didn't become one of those nighttime horrors until the end of her sophomore year- Derek had no choice but to turn her so she wouldn't die from her wounds after a kanima attack. The thing is, she didn't gain his fangs and claws. They say that the bite turns you into the shape of your character. Vera still isn't sure what to make of becoming some sort of glorified ghost. But with a pack of Alphas knocking on Derek's door and people disappearing left and right only to show up dead days later, she barely has time to think about anything else. It wouldn't be so terrible if it weren't for four specific facts: 1. The Alpha leader killed her father and may or may not be coming to finish her off. 2. Nobody seems to be safe from the mass murders in the town. 3. She has to spend more time than usual with Isaac Lahey, with whom she shares a mutual disliking. 4. Isaac pushes her buttons, but soon she starts to realize that she likes it. ©𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤 2019 𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐨𝐥𝐟 | 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝟑 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐚𝐜 𝐥𝐚𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐱 𝐨𝐜 𝐚𝐧 𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐍 𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐒 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 WINNER OF 2024 ARMAGEDDON FANFIC AWARDS FOR "BEST ISAAC LAHEY FANFIC"

POV: you're falling apart "Don't you dare fall for my deputy." "He's the only one who gets me though." "Don't do it, Willow." Noah warns me at the dinner table, Stiles stifles back a laugh. I flip him off and he stops, leaning back in his chair as he does. He does one of his famous eye rolls and Noah sighs. "What'd your dad say?" "He's fine with us..." I lean up and wrap my arms around his neck, our lips collide like meteors in space. I'm the happiest I've ever been with him. "You're so damn beautiful. But such a Bad Liar." He says after he pulls away. His smile lights up my world as I get lost in his words.
