Moving on to her young Twenties this was supposed to be the point in her life where she had it all figured out, and for the most part Astrid did, or as well as anyone her age could... She wanted to become a pediatric nurse and was fixing to go off to college for just that in Manchester City with a full ride scholarship.

That was until the day her life changed forever all thanks to some loony scientist who took it on himself to create this gigantic Particle Excellerator, for what purpose she couldn't even phantom or care less especially since it had nothing to do with her field. Or at least she didn't care until the damn thing had ruined her life....

Now Astrid found her life spinning out of control with no way to lessen the blow all because of a machine, and now she had to discover a way to cope as something she never thought she would be.
